Rose tattoos

I used to cringe at the thought of cliche tattoos. 

However as I am slowly getting more and more exposed to the beauty

that are tattoos, I am finding that my favorite ones often involve flowers.

I also used to hate roses, I thought their were way to intricate 

and ostentatious. But I have come to realize that I think I want my first tattoo

to be a rose. 

My second will be words, I have yet to decide. (Either, "Lucky", "Journey" "go on" 

or something related to my baby sister [I will always call her a baby no matter how old she is lol]). 

Anyways I still have many decisions to make,

for example where the location should be (shoulder or back? or arm? leg?!) 

and whether or not I want it in color, or the outline, or shaded in black.

And then there is obviously also the design itself 

and which tattoo shop has the best artists, etc.

Obviously I am constantly changing and will fall in and out of love

of rose tattoos, but I think that when I get mine, 

I will always love it no matter, because roses 

are just such a symbol of natural beauty at it's finest. 

DIY 'grunge' denim vest

I had this old Levi's lack luster denim jacket.

About a few months ago, I chopped off the sleeves and it became a vest,

but I really wanted to customize it more. 

The studs and spikes are from studsandspikes.com (how perfect lol),

and many of the patches and pins are from eBay or handmade.

The 1996 pin is actually from a vintage market, and the Obama pin

I got from a friend that campaigned for OBA.

The eat shit and diet patch (one of my FAVORITES, 

and sadly a motto I inadvertently live by) is from Unif. 

All the paint is some random acrylic brand from Michaels.

Keep in mind, I already had most of this stuff already, being the junkie I am,

so obviously I recommend using whatever materials you have.

For example, the light pink rose patch is cut out of baby clothes.

Okay I am beginning to realize my love for Asos....

I really like the look of beanies, but on me they really don't look too good.

On top of that, most beanies NEVER fit me, i.e. the American Apparel one,

my head is just unnaturally large. However, this beanie is the stretchiest

and most lightweight beanie I have ever encountered and am in love,

although I am still not comfortable with it's look.

Personally, I think Jenn from clothesencounters, and 

Barbara from thepersianbabe on Youtube (who both happen to own this hat!)

look better in them, but whatever

Room Wishlist

So this summer I moved into a different bedroom within my house,

(yes, I am blessed to be able to live in a big enough house to have such an "opportunity"),

and it is filled with old matronly drapes from my grandparents who previously lived there.

Due to the fact that I moved into a new room, it was very easy for me to dispose

of anything I didn't need, so, comparatively, my room has significantly less clutter.

As a result, it feels a bit bare at times, and I would like to brighten it up. 

I don't want to add any more clutter, I just want to replace things (like the curtains), 

and decorate the walls, not add anything with substantial mass.

I already have some paintings up, but I would like more tapestries and murals to personalize my room a bit.

I am usually a sucker for minialistic rooms with only white walls and white furniture,

but such an interior design does not really suit my room, so in the meantime I 

would like to slowly accumulate things to adorn my room with. 

(Obviously I have given up all hopes of a spending ban, but I will not be purchasing these items soon--

as I am pretty much broke)
